A TRAGIC BEDTIME STORY

"A Tragic Bedtime Story" is a poignant collection that delves into the Bosnian genocide, focusing specifically on five survivors who have found refuge in the Netherlands. The project brings their experiences to life through a combination of paintings and spatial elements, offering visitors an immersive encounter with the pain, hope, and resilience of the victims. By highlighting the cities of Srebrenica, Sarajevo, Višegrad, Prijedor, and Mostar, the project seeks to preserve the memory of these tragic events and aims to evoke empathy and understanding for the personal stories of the survivors. Each story is conveyed through the paintings from the perspective of the survivors themselves, ensuring that their voices and experiences are vividly represented and deeply felt.
